Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-10 (placeholder)

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account on HubsTime, signing in via a third-party provider, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use HubsTime.

These terms apply equally to anonymous landing-page visitors who upload reference material before signing up. Continuing past the sign-in wall constitutes acceptance.

2. Account registration & responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity carried out under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must provide accurate registration details and keep them current. HubsTime may suspend accounts that submit deliberately false information.

3. Acceptable use

Do not abuse the platform: no scraping, no automated content harvesting beyond rate-limited public APIs, no attempts to bypass security or rate-limit measures.

Do not upload material you do not have the right to use. If you upload third-party copyrighted documents into a knowledge base, you represent that you have the necessary rights or that the use is otherwise lawful (fair use, licensed content, public domain).

Do not use HubsTime to generate, distribute, or organise material that violates applicable law (illegal content, harassment, fraud, etc.).

4. Subscription & payment

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. By subscribing you also agree to the Stripe Services Agreement. HubsTime stores no card details directly; Stripe handles payment information end-to-end.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing settings; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Wallet balances and any included usage credits expire per the schedule on the pricing page.

5. AI-generated content

HubsTime uses third-party large language models to generate course material. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or biased. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publishing or relying on it.

HubsTime provides no warranty on the factual accuracy of generated content and is not liable for decisions made on the basis of unreviewed AI output.

6. Knowledge base content ownership

You retain ownership of any documents, URLs, or text you upload to a knowledge base. You grant HubsTime a non-exclusive licence to ingest, embed, store, and process this content for the sole purpose of running your generations and serving your hub.

HubsTime does not use your knowledge-base content to train shared or third-party models. Embeddings are stored only for the lifetime of the knowledge base.

7. Hub admin permissions and learner consent

Hub owners and admins control course publication, learner enrolment, and member management within their hub. Hub members and learners agree to the hub-specific policies their hub publishes in addition to these platform terms.

Learners can request removal of personal data tied to their enrolment via the hub admin or via HubsTime support.

8. Intellectual property

HubsTime and its licensors own all rights to the platform itself, including code, branding, and templates. Generated courses and the underlying content you provide remain yours.

You may not redistribute the platform or attempt to clone it.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from settings, which removes hubs you own, courses you authored, and the knowledge bases attached to them.

HubsTime may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, abuse the system, or pose a security risk, with or without notice depending on severity.

10. Limitation of liability

HubsTime is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HubsTime and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Total liability is capped at the amount you paid HubsTime in the twelve months preceding the claim.
